Each method can be tailored to you.

With a video showing you;

1. How a Double Chartered Accountant and experienced business owner would approach each of these income generation methods using his expert business skills,
2. how 2 beginners start and begin to understand each of these income generation methods and what pitfalls they find,
3. What equipment you will need to start each method,
4. How much you can charge, how much it will cost to start and run,
5. Most importantly, how long each method takes to make £1,000.

Usually the 'easier' methods charge less, so it can take longer to make £1,000.
There are more difficult methods that can take less than 24 hours to make £1,000.
A few of the methods have been included to show you that they should be avoided.

Step 1
Is to match yourself with an income generation method that works for you. Use the Second Income Guide 2020 like a catalogue to find your ideal method. Start the second income alongside your normal job to begin with. For example, there are potentially 339 home based income generation methods to choose from.

Step 2
Develop the second income method to supplement your primary income. Use the Second Income to fund projects like a holiday or debt reduction. You may want to turn your second income into a regular income and improve your lifestyle.

Step 3
You notice your second income generates more income than your primary income. Decide if your second income should be your new way of life. Remember, unlike employment, businesses have risks that should covered by insurance.

The Second Income Guide 2020

The real story

People are asking;
how can I increase my income without leaving the security of my current job?
At some point you may want to find a way of making some extra money to cover those bills.
You can start a flexible second income in your own time and at your own pace.

People are saying;
“It was useful to have a second income when I needed it”.
Practice makes perfect if you want to get out of the learning zone and into the earning zone.
Some second income methods can start making money on day 1 and others can take longer.

How does a second income work?
Step 1 - start a second income and find out what it takes to make £1,000
Step 2 - use the second income to fund projects or your new lifestyle
Step 3 - choose the flexible second income as it outperforms your primary income

I’ve been an Accountant for over 36 years working with over 4,000 clients, traders, businesspeople, budget holders and project managers, all of whom were either trying to make money, save money or save time.

The core skill.
The best way I have seen to make running a business or a project easier, is to develop a core skill, make a core unit and then repeat that process until you can achieve the desired result in the least time possible.

Convert your problems into units of £1,000.
I’ve listed 1,000 ways that you can use today, to make £1,000; it's called the Second Income Guide, 2020.
Now if your problem is £6,000, that’s 6 units. I would suggest that you specialise in 1 income generation method and repeat that 6 times.

Now you have 1 income generation method in your toolkit, why not try another one.

To make it easier to train alongside your current role, you may think you need to find ways to make money at home; but working from home is not the only way. You may consider working near your home and set a limit of how far you want to travel, such walking or cycling distance away. 339 ways to work from home
You might think that working from home could be the answer and we have 339 methods of generating an income, 276 from inside the home and 63 from a spare space at home like a shed or outbuilding. You are likely to need power, lights, a bench, secure storage, a rain proof roof, and insulated walls for those cold days. I would keep the office equipment inside and only keep tools in a locked metal-based outbuilding with an alarm and insurance.

440 ways to work near your home
If working from home is not for you and you want to separate your work-life from your homelife, why not choose one of the 440 income generation methods that are near your home. This includes working in neighbouring homes or buildings, a second property, or hiring an office, hall or plot near to your home. Walking and cycling could be an option with a car or van only being needed sometimes, for short journeys to move stock around.

171 ways that could be further away
These including using your car or van, travelling to shops or commercial buildings that may not be in walking distance. Being a professional or working in another business, means that you go where that business is based.

50 ways to work whilst travelling the nation
These are sight-seeing tours and trips that feel different, usually because they are usually some distance away.
